We didn't study pain in a classroom. We lived it.
Between us, twelve surgeries. Twelve times waking up to a body that no longer felt like ours. Twelve rehabs where progress was measured in millimeters and relapse was always one bad morning away. That experience isn't a footnote to our story — it's the reason we built the Human Performance Center.
Ten orthopedic, plus two others. Each one its own battle.
Students of movement, rehabilitation, nutrition, and mindfulness.
Working directly with real people, in real bodies, with real pain.
Debilitating pain. Grueling rehab. Moments of hopelessness.
We know what it feels like to dread the next physio appointment. To lie awake wondering if you'll ever ski again, ride again, walk without a limp. To watch a body you trusted betray you, and feel the fear that comes with that.
There were moments of frustration. Moments of fear. Moments where quitting felt like the honest choice. Anyone who tells you recovery is linear hasn't lived it.
Resilience, discovery, and an unshakable belief in healing.
Every setback taught us something. The mental and spiritual growth we gained through those trials shaped how we think about recovery — and how we approach helping others.
We came out of it with profound empathy and a conviction that the body can heal, if you give it the right conditions. That conviction is the foundation of every session we run.
We built the place we wish had existed when we needed it most.
We pair advanced modalities — PEMF, cold laser, frequency-specific microcurrent, and our proprietary IPAT method — with decades of hands-on craft. Over 40,000 hours later, we still meet every client where they are, and guide them to where they want to be.
Meet the cofounders
Fred has spent nearly three decades working with people in pain who aren't ready to slow down. He reads both the physical and emotional state of every client — and adapts in real time. No two people are the same, and he doesn't treat them that way.
His practice blends traditional sports rehabilitation with Cold Laser, PEMF, Frequency-Specific Microcurrent, and the IPAT method he developed with Kele — addressing the root cause, not the symptom.
Kele's expertise is in how the body moves — where it compensates, and why. She has a precise eye for the limitations holding each client back, and builds an approach tailored to that body, not a generic protocol.
She's especially passionate about women's health and the changes that come with midlife — because she's living it. Outside the clinic she's a committed mountain biker and gardener.
Transforming pain into wellness.
- 01
Combining our clinical backgrounds with our own injuries has been the driving force behind an efficient, effective, and mindful approach to aging, fitness, and well-being.
- 02
We've been students of movement, rehabilitation, exercise, diet & supplementation, and mindfulness for over 25 years — and we're still learning.
- 03
We live what we teach — cycling, strength training, yoga, hiking, snowsports — because the work only lands when it's lived.
- 04
We've had to pioneer new recovery protocols for ourselves to stay active. Those same protocols now serve thousands of clients.
- 05
Along the way we've sourced some of the most advanced healing modalities on earth — light-based and subtle-electrical therapies that accelerate the healing response.

"We invested in all these tools for ourselves — and we share them with everyone else."
