Human Performance Center is located in the beautiful foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Santa Fe, NM. With an elevation of 7000 feet above sea level, the Southern Rocky Mountain air is thin, the light is fantastic, and this is the perfect location to live an active, outdoor lifestyle.

Established in 1999, we have been a hidden gem of advanced healing and movement therapy for over 20 years. Whether you are an elite athlete, someone who is recovering from surgery, or someone in between, we can help you achieve your next step towards optimal performance. We’ve had clients that range from 10 to 95 yrs old. Our innovative approach to movement and physical rehabilitation has brought clients from around the world to see us. All we ask is that potential clients come with an open mind, check their ego at the door, and prepare to see themselves through a new lens.

Kele and Fred McDaniel, co-founders of Human Performance Center, Inc and Functional Integral Technique (F.I.T.)have spent the past 20 years finding REAL, evidence-based solutions to modern-day conditions which limit mobility and vitality. Fred & Kele look at the whole person, not just the symptoms. They have helped thousands of people not only get out of pain but understand why and how their situation developed and what to do about it if it returns. This revolutionary approach is based upon recognizing neuro-dysfunction in the human movement system and utilizing the power of neuroplasticity to reprogram movement pathways. Through a variety of techniques, we unveil where the body is not functioning optimally and how to correct those patterns of dysfunction using advanced hands-on treatment techniques and cutting-edge movement therapy.

Our Mission

Our Mission: is to facilitate awareness in each unique individual we work with and provide education and insight into how their body works and what they can do to enhance their human experience.

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy is based upon what we call Neurological Loading or Neural Tension (physical + chemical + psycho-emotional). The combination of these factors leads to biomechanical tension patterns that can be influential in the pain process. We facilitate changes in the body by creating a conscious dialogue between the brain/body connection.

Our Approach

Our Approach: We utilize a comprehensive view of a whole person. Using advanced hands-on treatment techniques along with cutting-edge movement principles, we guide our clients into a deeper understanding of their individual issues. We come from a sensitive place to meet our client's individual needs based upon “the trauma spectrum.”

MORE

Mobility

The fifth phase in the F.I.T protocol. Mobiltiy is where your brain/body connection is synchronized in a balanced way to have control through a specific range of motion.

MORE

Function

ABOUT US

KeleFredHeadshot2023cropped

We’ve been focused students of movement, rehabilitation, exercise, nutrition & supplementation, and mindfulness/meditation for 20 years. We are both highly engaged in active lifestyles (cycling, running, strength training, yoga, hiking, and snowsports). We’ve each had various injuries over our lives as athletes, too many minor injuries to count, but also we have been through twelve combined surgeries for injury correction. Through these injuries and surgeries, we have gained tremendous first-hand insight into how to help others who are suffering from pain and want to live a more optimal, active lifestyle.
